We’ve been busy working away on designing some new products - this time for Datsun 1200/B120 Ute lovers.

First up is our Datsun 1200/B120 Ute lightweight aluminium fuel tank. The tank is designed as a direct bolt-in tank that uses the factory mounting points and comes supplied with everything you need to get it installed. Included is new pipework all the way to the filler neck, hose clamps, our very own MadDat or MDR laser etched billet aluminium filler cap, and custom billet laser etched header plate. The tank is fully baffled and braced, and incorporates an internal anti-surge tank with an E85 600 HP fuel pump, calibrated VDP fuel level sender unit, breather, and a larger capacity of around 45 litres and is $2250 AUD. There is already a waiting list for the tanks so if you would like to secure one for yourself we are currently taking deposits to secure your position in line.

We’ve also been working on a lightweight aluminium battery holder to take the Full River Gel Cell Batteries that we stock. The battery holders have been designed to neatly tuck away your battery in the front left-hand panel of the ute tray - out of sight and out of the way of your new engine! Why would you want to use a gel cell battery you may ask yourself? Well the new generation of Full River Gel Cell batteries are great for when you are doing engine conversions or you need to relocate the battery. Gel Cell batteries are super compact in size and unlike standard batteries, have the ability to be mounted laying down, on its side or upright. They are a fully sealed battery which means they can be mounted in the boot or cabin. Full River Gel Cell batteries have a power output of 230CCA.
